Paul von Paumgartten / Alliance for Sustainable Built Environments

Paul von Paumgartten, director of energy and environmental affairs for Johnson Controls, Inc., has spent the past 25 years championing efficient building operations. He is a founding member of the Alli­ance for Sustainable Built Environments, a group of building industry leaders who promote sustainability through education, innovation and practice. He is on the board of the U.S. Green Building Council and was an active leader on the initial LEED EB Committee.
